For the corruption of language we have been given several definitions but we have chosen two that described the best what we thought was crucial.

What is the corruption of language?

“Language can be corrupt by prescription of rules by normativists. It happens when that kind of prescription begins to wane too deep into the tissue of the language, when it is based on mismatched logics, poor understanding of the language, incorrectly recognized regularities in the language, when it sticks to things which are the subject of style and the subject of communication situation. When it drives people into saying, that before they say anything, they start thinking right, as it should, and how not, and because of that artificial quasi-correctness they make a compromise with the goal of communication and content they want to convey.”

“Where language stops to be a mean of communication and becomes a deterrent, there one can look for causes and consequences of corrupting the language”.
