ZMUC have participated in the Tandem Ukraine program this year, in hosted workshops and trainings in Ukraine (Ivano-Frankivsk, Odessa) and Moldova (Chisinau), and from December 8th to December 15th in Serbia, at Tara Alternative Residency Centar. This year, in our expert movable residency program, representatives Viorica Badea from partner organization Open Hub from Romania and Andry Tuzhykov and Oksana Chmil from Laboratory of Culture, Ukraine, were visiting experts.The newly formed partnership will focus on the Museum of Corruption, an artistic program that ZMUC has been implementing in various forms since 2016. By the end of Tandem Ukraine program, in May 2020, an internet site www.muzejkorupcije.org will be created, as well as platform for network of existing corruption museums (www.museumofcorruption.net ).Tandem Ukraine is a learning-by-doing-it-together program that supports social change through cultural action. It’s a platform for project initiators to develop new skills, innovate practices and connect to international networks. Tandem offers a space to build sustainable partnerships that can grow through shared values.Current Tandem Ukraine round is focused on supporting newcomers in entering the international cultural stage and allowing more experienced actors to reinvent their roles. The program design invites culture makers to connect locally with new and existing stakeholders, while at the same time establish lasting connections with partners on international level.Tandem Ukraine is an initiative developed by MitOst e.V. and European Cultural Foundation (ECF). The program is implemented in close collaboration with Insha Osvita,and is supported by German Federal Foreign Office in the framework of “Dialogue for Change”, as well as ECF and Black Sea Trust, a Project of the German Marshall Fund of the United States.
