Mysterious Lunch (2015)

A series of talks with selected guest or guests, and with the specialties by “League of extraordinary gourmand”, begun in January 2015, quickly turned into the development of a single strategy – a transition of ZMUC from a “salon-communists” into “salon capitalists “.
Interviews made with Pavle Ćosić (January 8th) and Uros Đurić (January 16th) resulted in a decision to leave the space in Zemun and finding a new space with Karkatag collective.
“Engagement” with Karkatag was anounced, witnessed by Emil Holcer, ZMUC Director of Development, Marko Mamuzić, director, and Alexander Gliksman, an independent observer.
A part of the conversation with Pavle Ćosić, ZMUC Board of directors Chairman:
Paul: You called me on Thursday at four for a Secret lunch but you should have told me to come on Thursday at four to bother me a bit.
Denić: Then you would not come.
Vesna: It will be our concept.
Paul: It will be better to be a Mysterious lunch, Secret alludes to the Last Supper. So what, you should kill me by the end?
Vesna: Mysterious is better , so mysterious that we can do what we want, to change the concept of when and how we want.
Denić: Do you think we should remain salon communists?
Vesna: Or to become salon capitalists?
Paul: That does not exist.
Denić: Maybe someone should invent it?
Vesna: Perhaps we should invent it.
Paul: Saloon capitalism. What is it? Wanabee capitalists but in fact total losers. Salon capitalists between two slag.
Denić: In the company of salon capitalists. What would logo look like?
Paul: Salon capitalism can clog the mouth to everyone. This is a parody of everything. What do we do? We talk about how we’re going to make money and we know that will never happen.
Denić: Pavle, you’re no Chairman of the Board of this multinational company in vain.
Paul: There is no bussines like show bussines …
